About RoboCT

Robotic CT is a form of industrial computed tomography (ICT) that uses robots to scan objects. Xray-Lab, in cooperation with Fraunhofer EZRT X-ray centre, develops RoboCT through which the desired object can be scanned in both 2D and 3D. A typical procedure is a complete 2D scan of the object and a high-resolution CT scan in areas of interest (ROIs), whereby the system can decide for itself which CT method is most suitable based on the digital twin.
